The 2019 Safe Schools Conference will include state and national experts presenting the latest research and trends in school safety and violence prevention, effective program models and promising practices; networking opportunities and more.
A special conference track for school security personnel is available. The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) will present the two-day course “Adolescent Mental Health Training” for school resource officers, law enforcement and other school safety leaders. NASRO will also provide separate trainings that focus on relationships and school emergency planning.
This conference is a high quality professional development opportunity for school administrators, student support personnel, teachers, school nurses, SAP team members, school resource officers, local law enforcement and other community partners.
